Early this morning the High Prince convened an Emergency Session of the High Council. The exact nature of the meeting has not been revealed. The Supreme Chancellor, in response to the Emergency Session of the High Council also called back numerous Senators from their Home Planets, to attend a Special Session of the Senate, which is scheduled for later today. The Senate has been in recess lately, due to the High Council being in operation. The nature of both of these last minute sessions that were called, and the important events that will occur at both will likely be disclosed at the Afternoon Press Conference scheduled for 1700, which the Communications Director for His Majesty's Personal Staff announced just moments ago.
His Majesty's Office has provided the Ministry of Public Affairs with the scheduled times for public release.

The Special Session of the Imperial Republic Galactic Senate: 1300
Special Press Conference on both Sessions: 1700
