*The screen switches to show the Throne Room.
Holocam pans in and focuses on the Empress.*

Empress Solo-Katarn:
It is with a heavy heart that I address the citizens of the Imperial Republic. Less then 24 hours ago, the very foundation of the Imperial Republic was threaten. Thanks to the ingenuity and skill of leadership of the Imperial Republic, you as citizens can rest easy tonight knowing that the perpetrators of these attacks are at this moment being brought to justice. We understand the pain that many of you are going thru over the lose of your loved ones; because we are selves have lost close friends and associates. Despite this our resolve is firm. We will not let these crimes go unpunished. At this moment, the Galaxies finest are closing in on the guilty faction. And for this guilty faction they know who they are as well as do we. Let them beware that as a whole we, the Imperial Republic, will not stand for such evil actions. We will hunt down and bring everyone responsible to justice.

Executor Ieyena Cohean:
Reconstruction of the damaged cause is already underway, Only hours ago the Galactic Senate was summoned for an emergency session, which will address the issues of amending the Central Security Act and the Reconstruction Bill. With the help of these amendments, we will be better prepared in the future to protect the citizens of this Galactic Republic. At this time we call upon all of our citizens to stand together against this evil. We ask that you cooperate with the new security measure being put in place for your wellbeing. We know that it will inconvenience many of you, but in the long run it will make not only Corascant, but this Galaxy a safer place for you and your children. We are also in the process of putting together a memorial for those who lost there lives in the attacks. It is important that there family and loved ones understand that they will not be forgotten. I echo the resolve of our Empress. Those responsible are being brought to justice.

Furthermore, due to her valiant leadership of the Imperial Republic Security Bureau, we publicly announce the promotion of Deputy Director Colette Miller to the position of Director of Imperial Republic Security Bureau. She has served her fellow citizens with integrity and honor and is well qualified for this position. We commend the General for her outstanding work.

We as the leadership of the Imperial Republic are dedicated to the protection of our citizens; although tragedies happen we will rise above them and eliminate the evils among us.
