DES-1X Legatus
Coruscani Orbit

Revan sat impassively as Detrich handled the necessary communications with Port Authority. They had already cleared through the initial checkpoint in orbit...with a moderate level of complication nonetheless. Then again, Revan couldn't really be upset. It was a policy holding from his time at the helm of COMPNOR - an organization which had all but faded into obscurity...or so it seemed at least. Nodding slightly to Detrich, Revan entered in the coordinates of their destination. Naturally, they would not be landing at their final location. It was merely a covered facility where Revan could shift to the meeting location of his own accord.

"You do know that this is a monumentally stupid idea, right?"

Revan rolled his eyes slightly. "You know...I seem to hear that rather often. Yet time and time again, I tend to end up exactly where I wanted - don't I?"

"So you're saying you planned to end up the way you are now? In love with a woman you'll probably never have again and, effectively, engaging in treason to the government you once so passionately protected?"

Revan's expression soured at that inquiry. He wasn't mad at Detrich... Unfortunately, he trained the man perhaps too well. His assessment was correct. So much had happened that was seemingly beyond Revan's control. Perhaps this was his fate...his destiny. Whatever it may be, Revan only knew that right now he was taking any and all precautions. He knew that you could not respond to violence with further violence and hope to be successful. Instead...manipulation would be the name of the game. Eventually, some would have to perish in order to secure the galaxy's future. It mattered not, in time things would return to a more intelligent method of operation.

"I'll tell you what I do know. I know that I never liked the Senate, but I respected what they represented. The problem was in the so-called 'elected' officials, not the system. Then again, perhaps the system inherently bred such traits. That, Detrich, is the question I'm seeking to answer. Everything else...is just cosmetic."

The shuttle descended rapidly through atmosphere and was on final approach to its destination within the industrial sector before long. Cluttered amongst numerous facilities, a small warehouse operated exports for Centurion's corporation. Completely legal, there was little reason for it to draw much attention..even today. When the shuttle had landed and the loading ramp extended, Revan quickly made his exit. Waiting for him at the bottom of the loading ramp was Selina. Revan smirked slightly to himself. "Let's get to business shall we?"

As Selina and Revan arrived at their destination, three individuals emerged from the shadow of the facility's far wall. "Well, well, if it isn't Revan Centurion. Never thought we'd see you hear again...you know...given your 'fall from grace'."

Revan smirked slightly as he rolled his eyes. "Yes because the position I entertained was oh so graceful, right?"

A different man spoke this time. "No you're right. You were a royal pain in the side. Do you even realize how much business we lost due to your 'security' measures?"

Revan waved a dismissive hand as he took a few steps closer to the three men. "Do you honestly think that I even care?" Silence lingered for a few brief moments. "Exactly, now shut your collective faces and listen to what I have to say."

The first man to speak scoffed loudly. "You hold neither political nor military sway over anything now, Centurion. In fact...you and your little friend here are decidedly vulnerable. No royal guards...none of those beast things. Just you, a woman..."

The second man quickly interjected. "A very attractive woman..."

Revan glanced sideways to Selina for a brief moment before turning his attention back to the men. Grumbling slightly, Revan outstretched his left hand. A brilliant white light erupted from his palm and filled the entire room, sending the three men reeling backwards. Even as the unnatural light subsided, the glossy black hilt of Revan's lightsaber flew immediately to his hand. Activating the blue-silver blade, Revan advanced on the three men. "Don't for one second let the fact that I have not killed you yet give you a false sense of security. I think you'll find that I still possess every means to make your lives very, very difficult.... That is, of course, unless you decide to cooperate with me."

None of the men were aware of Revan's 'abilities'. It hadn't been something he displayed publicly in the past. As they stumbled to their feet, the one Revan determined to be the leader spoke up first. "Alright, alright! What the hell do you want, Centurion?"

The smile that spread across Revan's face could barely be controlled. "I want you to do what you do best, gentlemen."

"We do a lot of things very well, Centurion. You know this better than anyone else. Care to be a bit more specific?"

"I need you to send a message. Specifically, I need you to perform a service of necessity. Now, the government district is effectively still closed off to any other than authorized personnel."

"Yeah, no doubt you're to thank for that."

Revan's cold green eyes shot immediately to the man that had spoken. "Do me a favor, stop remind me of the things I've done. I already know them." Shifting his attention back to the man in the center, Revan continued on as the blue-silver blade of his lightsaber deactivated. "Financial districts." Revan handed the man a datapad. "Targets are listed there, along with general security compliments that I can remember. Naturally, you'll do your job to ensure proper reconnaissance is conducted before you...take care of the situation. I'd recommend dividing up whatever people you have loyal to you to conduct simultaneous attacks. Oh...and no...it's not supposed to be easy. Have a nice day, gentlemen." Clipping the hilt of his lightsaber back to his belt, Revan turned and began making his way back to the speeder Selina and himself had used to travel through the old drainage system pipes. Relics of an older era...if anything.

As they climbed into the speeder and shot off into the distance, Revan communicated to Selina through the force. *Payments were still being withdrawn from my Coruscant apartment, so I imagine it's still there. We'll use it as a place to stay...for the time being.* The trip itself didn't take much more than thirty minutes time. Once the speeder was parked, Revan and Selina both made their way inside the building. Pressing his thumb to the pad on the door, Revan waited as the door unlocked and slid open. Stepping inside, his senses immediately flooded the area, getting a feel free for any possible...unwanted...presences. Fortunately for now...there were none. Revan turned to Selina briefly. "I need to place a call, just do me a favor and check for any 'surprises' that may have been placed here in my absence." Revan didn't expect it, but he wouldn't be surprised. Picking up his communicator, he immediately dialed into Crystal Reins' personal communicator. "Hey Crystal...I'm going to need a favor..."

"Revan...?" A dedicated member of the Ubiqtorate, Crystal was quick to use her free hand to alert anyone of Revan's presence. Not because he posed any threat...at least...she hoped that he didn't. Still, his random appearance couldn't just be waived away. For a moment, she wondered why no notification had been sent when he cleared through the checkpoint. Then again, Crystal knew all about his 'abilities'.

Revan stepped out onto the balcony of his apartment that overlooked the bustling Coruscant skylanes as he replied to Crystal. "Yes, don't act so surprised. Oh and you may as well save yourself the time of running a trace. I will tell you free and clear that I'm on Coruscant at my apartment. So, if you really feel compelled to send some poor soul here to 'detain' me, at least do the write thing and start writing a letter to his parents. Tragic really...when young men die for no reason."

Though Revan could not see it, Crystal clenched her jaw for a moment. Waiting for the tension in her muscles to subside, she sighed audibly into the receiver. "Fine Revan...what is it you want?"

Revan smirked slightly, "It's nothing that I want, Crystal. However, I imagine it's something you and the rest of this so-called Republic's High Command would be interested in."

"Revan in case you've forgotten, I still have a job...so get to the point."

"Well if you're too busy, I can simply take my information elsewhere. Didn't realize you were so horrible at task management that you can't spare ten minutes."

"Just get on with it Revan!"

Revan chuckled lightly to himself. "Alright, alright - keep your shirt on. If my memory serves me correctly, the quarterly reserve shipment arrives this evening, no?"

If it were anybody else, Crystal would have been severely concerned with someone having that knowledge. The schedule was done on a rotating algorithm, but it had been partially designed by IRIS anyways. As a former Director of said organization, Revan had probably committed that and so many other things to memory. It was the one aspect about him that she truly, deeply admired. He never really seemed to forget much of anything if he was determined to remember. "So...? What are you going to do, rob the Reserve?"

"Me? No, no, I could never involve myself in such unsavory activities. However, I have received some information from a rather reliable source that multiple locations will be struck tonight. A somewhat notorious crime family would appear to be behind the effort."

Somehow, Crystal did not really believe that Revan's hands were completely clean of this situation. He was a very manipulative person when he needed to be, but she supposed that went with the territory. She was the same way with pretty much everyone other than Revan. "Wait, what? Do you know which ones? What time exactly? What crime family...?"

Revan smiled. "Glittani..." There was complete silence on the other end of the line. Crystal had not heard that name since she was a child. That was during a completely different time in her life. A time that she thought she had buried long ago during a covert operation. Apparently, someone did not want to stay buried.

"What is it you expect me to do about this?"

"What you do best. Find them, stop them"

Terminating the connection, Revan slipped the communicator back on to his belt. Turning, he re-entered the apartment and went over to the couch. Taking a seat, he rubbed his temples slightly and called out to Selina. She wasn't in the main living room, so he assumed she was off securing some other area of the penthouse. "Selina, you left Jayden at the palace with Tavria, correct?"

"I need to place a call, just do me a favor and check for any 'surprises' that may have been placed here in my absence." Selina nodded slightly, and began looking through the apartment.

The apartment is all to familiar to her with the numerous of times she has been there. She began the search in the living room, nothing seemed to be disturbed, but like always she checked and made sure everything was safe, sound and without any surprises. She continued on through out the apartment, taking her time, making sure nothing was there.

"So far so good..." she said to herself softly when she was done with half the house.

Continuing to the rest, which were the bedrooms. She made sure every room was safe, but she espeically made sure these were. After checking them the first time, she went back and double checked them. She started off in Revan's room at first, then went next to Jayden's. She had to smile slightly as she went through his room, with it having evidence of being a young childs room.

"Selina, you left Jayden at the palace with Tavria, correct?" Revan asked her.

She walked out of Jayden's room back into the living room. She leaned against the nearest wall and looked down at him on the couch "Yes, he's with Tavria." She paused for a moment, "Everything is ok. No surprises waiting."

Revan nodded his head slightly to Selina. "Good, just wanted to check." Pausing for a moment, Revan looked up at Selina. "You know, I've never really thanked you for all that you've done. Nice to know that someone was willing to remain a friend whenever I needed one... Regardless of how many times I've saved your life." Revan winked playfully at Selina, knowing full well that she'd saved his life just as many times if not more. Selina had certainly been more than a blessing in terms of taking care of Jayden. Granted, neither one of them knew really...how to be parents, but she seemed to have the whole nurturing instinct that Revan sometimes lacked.

Standing from his seat, Revan glanced out the large reinforced windows that gave way to the Coruscant skyline. In the distance, bathed in ever-present light sat the Imperial Palace. A symbol of so many things over the years, Revan wondered if it would ever be more than a simple beacon for whatever government presently consumed the galaxy. From a pillar of evil and domination to a symbol of hope and freedom...it seemed the palace would once again be returning to its roots before long. In these days of growing darkness, Revan's thoughts were not for the few but the many. He wondered what type of galaxy his son and other children like him would be forced to live through. Even more so, he thought back to the comments made by his Great Uncle and Great Grandfather so many years ago. Destined to walk a similar path... Still even then, Revan had made a choice. He'd made a choice to be different...to forge his own destiny.

Now the clarity of the statement becomes realized in full...

Sure, perhaps all of the Imperial Republic's enemies had been wiped out. Then again, perhaps that was merely what the upstart Empress wanted everyone to think. It was funny really...she was acting as if she could exist in this life without consequence. There were few that knew just how close the High Prince was to the Imperial Republic. It would appear that many had forgotten Layha was little more than a steward in these times. What would she do when Jim returned? Attempt to kill him and take the IR for herself? Would she simply step aside...satisfied that her 'game' was done? Revan would like to think Layha wasn't so blindly idiotic, but he couldn't be sure of anything these days. Glancing back towards Selina, Revan smirked slightly.

"You know Selina...there is only one true constant in this galaxy. The surest way for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing... Come on, we've work to do." Turning, Revan motioned for Selina to follow him back out of the apartment. They would return in due time, but they needed to supervise a certain activity first. The winds of change had swept through Coruscant, in time their gusting motion would be felt by all.

Selina laughed softly, and smiled "Your welcome. That's what friends are for, aren't they? I'm just merely returning the favor, for...you know, saving my life so many times."

She still smiled softly as she watch him stood from his seat in look out at Coruscant. The smile faded when she looked out onto Coruscants vast horizon. She always enjoyed coming to Coruscant even as a child, which held a different meeting from what it meant now.

You know Selina...there is only one true constant in this galaxy. The surest way for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing... Come on, we've work to do." Revan said to her as he turned to her and motioned her to follow him.

Thinking about what he had last said, she pushed her self off the wall and followed him outside of the apartment.
