Jacen entered the the building where the "Party" was going to be.. He felt kind of nervous because it was his first time in something so formal, and he felt like a bum because he had nothing to match what politicians wore.. then he *whistles* this is better than the barracks said jacen admiring the design of the whole, "party?".. he had valiantly fought the enemy in a war but he did not deserve the position he had to join some of the most important people of IR.. still, as long as there were food and beautiful women, he knew he was going to enjoy it..

Revan sighed lightly to himself as he looked out across the Coruscant sky lanes. From the balcony of his quarters at the palace, Revan could see clear across the area known as Imperial City and well out towards the commercial district of Coruscant. Off to his right, he could see a sizable amount of the industrial district that was home to the vast majority of manufacturing interests on the planet. The sun had already set on Coruscant, and the brilliant array of lights that never seemed to be extinguished appeared as jewels in the distance. Dressed in an all black suit and a black overcoat with crimson lining, Revan Centurion stood in silence. It was the evening of a celebration, and he'd never been more confused and, in truth, concerned. While it was a happy occasion, the belated annual celebration of the Imperial Republic's inception, Revan was apprehensive. Military forces had somewhat recently returned for an extended operation in the Outer Rim, and a number of individuals had returned from the Hapes Cluster with Layha. Revan knew what had happened, but he'd not spoken a word of it...there was little reason to.

As he turned from the magnificent view of Coruscant, Revan was greeted by one of the royal guards. "What is it?"

"Message from one of our advance readiness units."

Revan grumbled slightly, knowing that the message was likely a very simple status update that had little bearing on anything. Still, the ARUs that had recently been instituted amongst the Royal Guard certainly had served an important purpose during the trials and tribulations of the recent past. So much had been accomplished...so many organizations swept away...so many good men and women lost. Perhaps it was one of the very few reasons that he committed so much of his being to this job. That and the fact that he knew how important it was to have a father you could look up to. After all, Revan never really had that. In fact, the closest thing to a father to him had attempted to kill him not more than six years ago. Revan never wanted to but Jayden in that position. "Very well, anything critical or are things progressing as usual?"

"Status is normal sir. I've had specifics routed to your datapad should you choose to glance at the full report later."

Revan nodded to the Protector. "Very well, thank you." Nothing else was said as the royal guard fell into step behind Revan. Once he had exited his quarters, he was joined by another royal guard. In silence, the three individuals walked the short distance to a private lift which would access Layha's quarters within the palace directly. Once they had indeed arrived, Revan motioned for the guards to wait by the lift. Walking down the long corridor, Revan arrived at the door leading inside Layha's quarters and knocked twice. "Layha...are you seriously still not ready." Revan smirked slightly to himself, but it was a nervous smirk. In an attempt to distract himself, he briefly ran a finger over the object in his right pocket.

*Revan now inside the room*

Layha peeked around the corner and scowled. "What kind of question is that?" She moved back behind the wall and waved away her handmaidens. Her hair was half up in a elaborate Hapan twist and the other half was half curled half straight... not nearly finished. She was still dressed in a bath garment as she came closer to Revan. "Getting ready takes time." she shrugged. "Besides I never get this dressed up. So shut up and enjoy it." She gave him a sly smile and her eyes twinkled with mischief. She walked past him and into the kitchen area, her handmaidens with brushed and curlers right behind her. A moment later she walked back past Revan and back into the powder room where her handmaidens leaped to complete her hair. "Be useful Revan and go check on Andur. He looked quite nervous the last time I saw him. Make sure he has something nice on."

Revan smirked slightly as he shook his head. "Women... You take forever to do anything. Revan looked Layha directly in the eye as his smirk transformed to a subtle smile. "And I do mean...anything." Watching as handmaidens trailed Layha around like dogs, Revan couldn't really do more than look on with a moderate level of amusement. Sighing slightly, he resigned himself to the fact that he would just...never understand that particular dynamic of the female species.

"Be useful Revan and go check on Andur. He looked quite nervous the last time I saw him. Make sure he has something nice on."

Revan gave Layha a look before laughing slightly and shaking his head. "I'm sure he is capable of dressing himself." Revan really did not want to go and 'check' on a kid that wasn't even his. Mothers... Seeing the look on Layha's face, Revan merely raised his hands in defeat. "Alright, alright - I'm going." Turning, Revan exited Layha's quarters and made his way a short distance down the corridor to where Andur stayed in the palace. He knocked briefly before he heard Andur permit him entrance. Stepping inside, Revan glanced at the young man. "Layha wanted me to check on you. First time to one of these?" Revan and Andur didn't have...much of a relationship. They were pleasant with each other, but Revan always had the somewhat sneaking suspicion that Andur resented him for being with his mother. It didn't bother him that much, he was just sure to treat Andur as he did any other civil person.

-----A few days prior------

Alex was in his "office" with his feet propped up on a desk that he had reading the daily holonet news. Interesting...there is a big fancy dinner for the big wigs in a few days. I haven't gotten an invite yet thankfully...so I guess I won't be attending. Alex mumbled. He was not fond of big groups as there would most likely be someone there that held a grudge. There was a knock on his door

Come in Alex said as he took his feet off the desk as one of his wingmates came in.
Sir..did you hear about that big dinner that they're having in a few days
Alex cleared his throat
Sorry sire the man saluted.
Although I have a more relaxed policy with those in my squadron, I still do have guidlines. Alex returned the salute. Now what did you want to say...and yes, you have permission to speak freely.
ABout that dinner...are you going to go?
No.
You should.
I have not gotten an invite and I enjoy the quiet here. Besides, you know how much I enjoy large groups. he added sarcastically And don't push it.
Yes sir. Alex's wingmate turned to leave You know you'll be missing out.
At least I won't be court martialed Alex said under his breathe Aw...crud he said a bit too loudly as he checked his mail
"Dear Sir or Madam,.........."
There was a laugh outside his door.

----the present-----

Alex stepped out of the hover car and breathed in deeply and let out a sigh of annoyance. He was dressed in a highly expensive black tuxedo with a royal blue vest and tie. It had been handed down to him and it had been ages since he wore the thing. Needless to say...he was not a big fan of dressing up. He briskly walked into the place where the state ball was going to be held. Once inside he was shown to the specific place it was to be held and he entered. Once inside he put on his best social smile that he had used many times undercover and subtlely looked for a corner to conquer.

Andur gave a look of annoyance as to why Revan was there. His mother over the last year or so had become smothering in the fact that she wanted to know every detail of his life. "First time to one of these?" he heard Revan ask. Andur nodded. "And I can't for the life of me figure out why its so important that I am there. I had plans until this came up and I assume Mum just wants to prance me around like a show pony I suppose." he looked at Revan. "I am not one for fancy balls and the like. Thats Phoenix's terrain. Wonder why Mum didn't invite her." he half side it to himself. He turned back to the mirror and put the finishing touches on his hair. When he was finished he turned to Revan and for a moment stared at the man as if to try and understand him. "I don't hate you if that is what you are thinking. Nor do I resent you and your current... position with my Mother. She is happy and that is all that matter to me. I haven't seen her smile in years and she seems to... whats the word for it... 'glow' when you are near. I wont deny it... I do wish Mother and Father had found away around their problems, but we both know that was never going to happen. I have come to terms with it... I guess I just wanted you to know that." Andur had picked up a dark blue over coat and had slipped into it. The coat set off his blue within blue eyes causing a twinkle in each one. "All I ask Mr. Centurion is that you take care of Mother, and please.... do not hurt her." He meant the last sentence and he hoped the man in front of him understood he was quite serious. He knew he posed no threat to a man of power greater than his own, but h is words came from the heart. He gave Revan a tight grin.

Revan didn't really know what to say in response to Andur. It was hard for him to really relate to the kid seeing as...well...Revan did not have much of a childhood himself. However, Revan did manage to force out a slight smile. "I'll do what I can. It's good to see that you're concerned for your mother. Regardless of what happens - you'll always be the most important man in her life along with brothers..." Revan paused momentarily as he stared inquisitively at Andur. "Anyways, let's go see if your mother is even ready yet. Women...they take twice as long to do just about anything." Revan turned to lead Andur out of the room and back into the corridor, but he stopped short of the door. "Oh...and if you tell her I said that... I'll kill you." This time around, Revan managed a genuinely amused smirk as they stepped into the corridor. Arriving back at Layha's room, Revan opened the door with a wave of his hand and stepped inside. For a moment he wondered if bringing Andur down here was a good idea or not. On the other hand...he figured it was probably something he shouldn't bear any shame in the child seeing.

Andur laughed slightly at Revan's remarks and followed the man back to his mothers quarters. "Mum are you ready yet? I really want to get this over with." A huff came from the inner room and a moment later Layha emerged dressed in a silky golden gown. The dress clung to her body like a second skin and barely flared out at the bottom to give her walking space. Her hair was now finished, pilled on top of her head in several hundred braided twisted. A simple golden crown was placed among the twist. She immediately came over to Andur and gave the boy a kiss on the forehead. "You look splendid darling...." Andur simply smiled. "Thanks Mum. Now can we go?" At that moment Rhowen entered the room. "Layha its time." Layha nodded and linked her arm with Revan's. She smiled at him. "You look great too." She gave Rhowen a slight nod and the small group moved out.

Silence was..all Revan could really muster as his eyes swept over Layha. In fact the only thing that dragged him out of his day-dreaming state was the sound of Layha's voice speaking to her son. It was funny really...you wouldn't guess Layha was a Sith by watching her interactions with others. Sometimes it confused Revan to a great degree...so much about the galaxy these days was...unclear to him. It didn't happen often, but when it did, Revan knew well enough to take note.

Revan remained silent through Layha and Andur's exchange. When Rhowen entered, he afforded the woman a brief, almost imperceptible nod of the head. As the small group began walking down the corridor, Revan stopped somewhat abruptly and looked from Layha to the others. "I'm sorry I... I need a moment alone with Layha if you two don't mind." Revan didn't expect Andur would have an issue. If Rhowen did, well he wouldn't be surprised, but he really did not care.

Rhowen gave Revan a scowl, but immediately turned her expression back to stern face when Layha gave her a nod. "Fine Revan, but do make it quick. The Empress is due at the ball as you already know." Layha turned to Revan, not sure what it was he wanted. "Rhowen, Andur please give us a moment." Rhowen nodded and escorted Andur outside to the awaiting limo. Layha turned her attention back to Revan. "Are you ok? Whats wrong?"

Revan didn't even afford Rhowen an expression in her return to her comment. The woman was like a constant broken record wrapped in an aura of bitterness. It was annoying to no end. Once Rhowen and Andur were down the corridor and outside, Revan pulled Layha off to the side. "I'm fine I just..." Revan sighed slightly as he shifted his weight somewhat nervously. Managing to look back up at Layha, he forced himself to smile. "Layha, all those years ago...I pretty much thought that I had lost you forever. I went about my life raising our son - thinking he would simply never get to know the amazing woman that gave birth to him. Then something happened. I was pulled back to Naboo to assist in stabilizing the government, and I couldn't stay away from you even though I tried. Trust me...I tried." Slipping his right hand into his pocket, Revan lowered himself to one knee and took Layha's hand in his. "Here and now...I promise that I will always love you, Layha Solo...as I have for so long. It's become clear to me in the past year or so that being without you just...well it's difficult." Revan smirked slightly, not really wanting to show just how much he had missed her during her prolonged stay in the Hapes Cluster. It was a sacrifice he had to make for the greater good of the Imperial Republic, and he could appreciate that.

"I love you for who you really are, Layha. Not who people think you are, and I understand the implications that come along with that more than anyone else." Reaching into one of the pockets of his suit, Revan removed a small black box wrapped in a silver bow. Placing it in Layha's hand, Revan came to his feet and leaned in close to her. "Will you give me your hand in marriage, Layha Solo?" It was a modest proposal, but he saw no reason to be flashy. She either knew how much he cared for her...or she did not.

A wave of pure shock swept over Layha’s entire being. She took in the moment; Revan… what he was asking her and the black box that was in her hand. Layha gathered her composure together quickly and opened the black box. “Do I have to put it on myself?” A small smile began spread across her face.

Revan smiled slightly at Layha, concern melting away. Taking the box from her hand, he untied the bow and opened the container. Within it was a reasonably sized diamond ring containing a small sapphire on either side. Removing the ring from its protective mold, Revan stowed the box in one of the pockets of his overcoat and gently took Layha's left hand in his. Carefully sliding the ring into place, he was happy to see that it seemed to fit perfectly...finding out her ring size had been somewhat difficult, really. After planting a soft kiss on her lips, Revan smiled at Layha. "You look beautiful by the way." Thoughts of their commitments for the evening had long since dwindled away, but they would be there...as protocol demanded.

Layha returned the kiss and continued to smile. She brought her left hand up to examine the new addition to her hand. "Its beautiful." a tingle in the back of her mind made her aware that Rhowen was impatiently waiting for them. Layha shook her head and lightly touched Revan's arm. "And yes, I will marry you. But I think we better go before Rhowen decides to kill us both." Layha was joking of course, Rhowen was just a very prompt person and hated being late to anything, even if it as a funeral. It was one of the qualities Layha loved about the woman. She was good at getting Layha in and out of situations if it called for it. Layha took a hold of Revan's hand and the two walked out and barded the Limo that would be taking them to the Ball.

Vaughn entered the ballroom with Syd on his arm. They had been married for a few years and had a baby at home who was with a nanny. The two were greeted by many who Vaughn knew from work. Syd simply smiled and shook hands with anyone Vaughn introduced to her. "The Empress isn't here, which means nothing will begin until she is present." he looked about the room. "The Grand Minister Treyson isn't here either, lets grab a table and order something to drink." Syd nodded and they moved to sit down.

The General entered the hall, leaving his coat with the host he smiled and walked towards a table, having been escorted by his personal body guards, he took a seat and waved his men off.

Waving a waitress over he ordered a hapan ice water and took in the ballroom view.

"I see we are waiting once more." He chuckled to himself as he waited for the Empress to enter.

I feel so bored.. maybe i should have stayed running drills.. what am i talking about? come on Jacen, compose yourself and act like a gentleman.. with who?.. Waitress, do you have something that does not have hapan in it?

Tavria sat in her office in the Senate building, far away from where the party was being held. Since the disbandment of the Senate, the building had been retained by the Ministry of State but had switched its uses to host state events and to serve as extra office space, so Tavria had been able to retain her old office space. She brought up the live feeds from the hall where the Ball was being held and approximated the number of guests, it was turning out to be quite a turnout. She adjusted her State attire as she turned her attention back to some last minute work she had to finish, while she awaited the arrival of the Empress and her cousin. This wasn't her favorite office on Coruscant, she had quite a few, from her many experiances on Coruscant. She finished her work and stood up as she walked out of her office and slowly wandered the hall of the Senate Building which were now restricted areas, since the disbanding of the Senate. The building probably had the second nicest and most decorative walls of any government office except for the Palace and the Ministry of State building.

Vega took over a corner table and surveyed the room. He could see Jacen Fel conversing with a waitress...well, at least it seemed like conversing. He looked to the entrance as he noticed another man enter. Vega assumed he was military by the way he held himself....probably army. He then survey the room again and noticed how nice every one was dressed up in various dresses, suits, tuxes, and etc.

He self consiously straitened his bowtie.

Would you like anything to drink sir?

He looked up in suprise and saw a waitress in a beautiful green dress. He thought quickly.

What are your recommendations on a beverage that is non-alchoholic? Alex gave her a smile

Sir, I believe I know just the thing. I'll be right back with your drink.

Might I add that you have on a beatiful dress Madam.
He complemented her

She quietly chuckled as she left to bring the drink. This might not be so bad after all...

Commander Halcyon was in his appartment getting ready. "Man, I hate getting dressed up for these kinds of things."
"So why are you going?" asked a soft voice from the door.
Corran turned around to see his "date" to the ball at the door. He smiled. Looking at the very beautiful woman standing there. "Date" he thought to himself. He hadn't been on a date in a very long time, since he joined the Empire back in the day, and even though his mercenary years, as well as the time spent in the Imperial Republic. His dates name was Lynn. He knew her from when he was growing up on Corellia. They had never had a serious relationship, but both of them had liked each other. He went away to join the military and lost contact with Lynn, but during the Outer Rim Wars he had travled to Corellia and ran into her there. Thoughout the war he was able to stay in contact, and on his return to Coruscant, he picked her up.
"Hey, you OK?" Lynn asked.
"Yea, sorry. I was just thinking." He said.
"About us no doubt." she said with a grin.
"Wow, I guess you are smart for a blonde." Corran said with a laugh.
Lynn glared at him and retorted, "Your just jelous because I'm prettier then you."
Corran just started to laugh, and said "Your damn right."
Both looked at each other and laughed. That had always been a joke between the two of them.
Then Lynn said, "Are you ready yet, because we are going to be late?"
"Yes, I'm ready, and no we are not going to be late, because I'm driving." He said the last part with a grin on his face.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Corran and Lynn got the the ball on time and entered in. Looking for people to introduce Lynn to, he spotted Jacen Fel his Wing CO. They walked over to where Jacen was sitting. "Hey Lt. Fel, I would like you to meet Lynn."

Layha and Revan exit the building and entered the Hover limo moments later. Rhowen tapped the driver on the shoulder and they took off into the night air. It was only a minute or two before they arrived at the State Ball. Rhowen was the first to get off then following her was Andur, Revan and then Layha. Layha grabbed a hold of Andur's shoulder. "You will walk in beside me." she turned to Revan, "And you as well." She linked arms with Revan and gave Andur a wink. "You wont be the only one there your age. I had the Grand Minister invite others as well." Andur smiled slightly. "This might not be so bad after all." Layha shook her head. "Ok lets get this over with." she put on a smile and was escorted by Royal guards to the red carpet and into the Ball Room. She could faintly here them announcing her arrival along with Centurion and her son. Rhowen disappeared into the background, but was there and alert. Layha took in the room in one sweeping glance. It had been many years since the last Gala Event. Layha unlatched her arm as a woman she recognized as a Senator from the Corellian sector came forward to hug her. *This is going to be a long night. Tavria really did herself in with this one. There must be hundreds of people here to greet* she said, directing her thought to Revan.

Revan did not say much as he stepped out of the limo. When he heard Layha attempt to reassure Andur, Revan could do little more than smirk at him. *Never let your mother set you up with a girl. Trust me, that always ends badly* Revan was mostly kidding. Though in Hapan society, that tended to be the truth more often than not. Especially when it came to royalty... Allowing Layha to link her arm with his, he offered her a warm smile, thankful that Tavria was receiving all the credit for the event.

Once they had all entered the Senate Hall, Revan felt Layha release hold of his arm. In that moment, one of the numerous attendants approached and asked to take his overcoat. Revan nodded politely and shrugged it off as the man collected it from behind his back. "Thank you." Taking a moment to adjust his suit coat, Revan's vibrant green eyes took in the scene around him. He noted a numbers of eyes falling on the Empress before shifting slowly to himself. He managed to simply keep smiling as a number of people came forward to greet the Empress before funneling over to greet him. *Yeah well, you didn't like my idea so...suck it up champ.* Revan managed to smirk slightly at Layha before winking playfully.

Tavria had snuck into the Hall through a side entrance, which was offlimits and guarded, and walk over to talk with the Minister of State. It would indeed be a long evening, and everything should go as expected, they did have enough food and everything. As Tavria was talking to the Minister of State, she saw the Empress and Revan enter along with Andur. Tavria smiled as she saw them, but then turned her attention back to the Minister of State as they reviewed once more the schedule for the evening. Tavria hoped that the evening would be perfect for Revan and Layha, she had noticed them getting closer and closer and figured the next step would happen soon if not tonight. After Tavria had finished her conversation with the Minister of State, Jason approached her and reviewed her dancing partners list with her for the evening.

"Ah, Commander Halycon and his," Alex whistled silently to himself as he saw ,"stunning date!" He looked around as he took another sip of his drink from the crystal goblet (was the only term he could think of). He looked among the number of people that had arrived: Admirals, Generals, High Councilors, Commanders, and Senators. He noticed another couple coming in. They were given respect, adoration, greetings. "Well, what do you know......The Empress herself."

He had seen pictures in holopics, holozines, and holonet; but as the proverbial saying goes "nothing compares as the real thing."

"I can't believe Lts like myself and Fel would be invited. The Commander well.....I can see that..."He paused in his thoughts as he said hello to some big wigs passing by then resumed"...but Lt's. That is usually unheard of. "

He looked back to Fel from his corner and saw that he was suprisingly enough still engaged in conversation. Lt. Vega Picked up his goblet delicately, swirled the drink around, then took another sip.

Layha mentally rolled her eyes. *Your idea was not an option* Layha was about to turn and greet another when a familiar presence swept over her entire being. She looked up and smiled. "Mikael, how did you..." He returned the smile and shrugged. "I have my ways." On his arm was Jade, and to the right of her was a slender young women and man. It took a moment before Layha realized who they were. "Wes? Adain? Look how tall you've grown!" Adain curtsied and Wes bowed. Layha hugged both to her and kissed there foreheads. "It is good to see you two." Wes hugged Layha, "It is good to finally see you Aunt Layha." Adian nodded. "Its been so long." "Andur is here, I believe he has made his way to the bar. Why don't you both go and join him." Wes and Adian nodded and moved away and into the crowd. Layha turned back to Mikael and Jade. "I would rather not talk about the past situation. What is done is done." Mikael nodded. "I know, I just want you to know I am proud of you. You did what you had to do. Not only for yourself, but for Hapes too." He kissed her softly on the cheek, as he moved away something caught his eye. He grabbed Layha's left arm and held it out in front of him. The ring sparkled on her fingers and both Mikael and Jades eyes widended. "Whats this?" Jade asked. Layha simple smiled. "I think you know." At that moment Revan was beside her. Mikael nodded to him, "Revan."

*It was an option, just not one you wanted to entertain. Either way...my point stands, and you'll simply have to 'suffer' through. Who knows, you may even have a bit of fun.* At that moment, Revan caught sight of Tavria making her entrance. He probably wouldn't have noticed her from such a distance had he not been alerted to her presence. Mentally, Revan made a note to speak with his cousin at his earliest opportunity. For now, he would permit her to take care of whatever business she needed. In that instance, Revan realized that he needed to go off and fulfill his duties as co-host very shortly. Yeah...that's the real reason I did not want to come.

Before Revan could excuse himself from Layha's company, he was caught in the midst of a slightly awkward family conversation. Well...awkward for him, at least. Mikael addressed Revan with a slight air of familiarity, but he certainly did not consider himself to be on such terms with the man. Officially, he was a Prince and as such a foreign dignitary. Likewise the only real interaction they'd ever had was during the issues with that brat Alora. Managing a polite smile, Revan nodded his head slightly to Mikael. "Prince Solo." Shifting his gaze to Jade, Revan allowed the charming government leader within him to flow through before shifting his gaze back to Mikael. "A pleasure to see you both." Briefly, Revan projected an image into Layha's subconscious.

Layha narrowed here eyes at Revan and knew he was laughing inwardly. She turned back to Mikael and Jade. “I am glad you both are here. Please make yourselves at home. And if there is anything you need let me know.” She kissed Mikael on the cheek and Jade as well. “If you’ll excuse us.” Layha turned back to Revan. “Not funny. Your cousin just arrived. Perhaps you can talk to her and see what her agenda is.”

Revan merely gave Layha a look that spoke volumes of how interested he was in handling her concerns at the present point in time. "Yes, she did, and I'm not concerned what her agenda is. After all, we planned the event together. However, if you're curious..." Revan motioned to the table they'd be sitting at. "As is the case with most formal affairs, the plan of events is laid out in some fancy card that I naturally had little interest in helping to select. You can browse the 'agenda' at your leisure." Briefly, Revan's eyes tracked across the spacious room towards a number of individuals from one of the more prominent Coruscanti law firms that he'd been meaning to speak to. Glancing back at Layha, he kissed her cheek softly. "There is something I need to tend to. I'll see you in a bit." Nothing more was said as Revan departed Layha's presence and casually made his way towards the men that had been causing him a relative headache as of late.

As Revan approached, the men bowed respectfully to Revan which he dismissed with a wave of his hand. "Please, gentlemen. You can dispense with the pleasantries for now. It'll be a very long evening otherwise. I'm sure you know why I came over here then?"

The eldest of the three men smirked slightly and nodded his head. "Indeed, Your Excellency. So tell us - have you managed to rectify your financial issue?"

Revan smiled although he had a severe desire to kick the man's teeth in. "I'd hardly consider it a 'problem'. It's not as if I am pressed for funding."

"Ah yes but abusive shells like that can cause an awful lot of trouble. What...did you think the slush funds from all of those illegal arms proceeds would simply have been...ignored once you were no longer in a position to keep track?"

Revan could not help but laugh slightly as he stepped in closer and lowered his voice. "Now...you listen to me, and you listen closely. If you for one minute think that this is over or you have won something, I suggest you think again. Particularly if you value the lives of your wives, children, friends, or the integrity of your name across this system. Do not allow the fact that I have not ripped out your intestines give you a false sense of security." Taking a step back, Revan nodded his head with a smile. "Gentlemen, a pleasure as always...do carry on." As soon as he turned away from the group, his expression dropped to that of mild annoyance and anger rippled through the force around him. In his wake, Revan Centurion left a number of concerned individuals. Far too many thought that Revan was constrained in action by his position or beliefs in life. They could not be farther from the truth...he did what was necessary at any given time.

Tavria walked up behind Revan as he turned and walked away from the men he had been talking to. Tavria didn't recognize the men on the quick glance over had given them. "So Revan, how are you doing this evening? I haven't really gotten to see you in a while. I hope that you've been doing well and everything."

Vega looked at the time and noticed not even an hour had passed. He sighed in frustration as the the volume level had increased a bit as more people had arrived.

This is one of the reasons why I hate these type of social functions...Vega thought as he glanced around the room waiting for a refill.
