Hey all,

Our wiki is back. Layha, Ieyena, and I started on this project and were assisted by Kaidlen, OVERMIND and Oho Gomao at the time. It was going well until something happened and the db became corrupt and we lost it all. We have the latest version of the software installed and a fresh database and we're hoping to get it going again.

This will have our timeline on it, info about characters (character profiles), major scenarios, etc. It will be like our Jedi Archives (from Episode 2) per se for the IR. Any time you can contribute to creating articles will be appreciated. For now the wiki is htaccess protected, so to access the URL itself you will need to use the login below. Once you are into the wiki, please create a user account so that we can track changes per user. We will then give admins specific privilges to the wiki, to be able to protect certain pages from edits by non-admins, etc. We won't be using this a news place or something to "check often", but more of a storage place for you to help us preserve important histories, articles about scenarios and characters, etc. I would recommend the first thing you do is create an article for your character based on your character profile. A simple copy/paste is probably the easiest way to start off, formatting can be done with more time (see mine and OVERMIND's for examples). The next thing to do would be to create an article about your department and possibly within it subdivisions. Large subdivisions such as the Navy, Army, etc, can have their own articles created by you or their dept head. Initially I opened this only to the admins, but I have decided to open it up to the whole player base because we need contributions from everyone. Please read the main page for guidelines - and links to main articles as well as editing tips and help. First thing to do is create your own account after you are logged into the htaccess. The htaccess login (pop-access box before viewing the site) is below for players. The High Council and OOC Staff have their own login, though it should do the same thing until individual accounts are registered on the wiki itself.

Everyone please register an account on the Wiki and begin contributing articles especially for the red links. Registration will earn yourself a 5,000 point bonus next pay and 2,500 for each article contributed. Please PM Minister William Benson to notify him of succesful registration and any articles you may have contributed to as appropriate. Your own profile article counts. Contribution of major articles can result in double award bonus.

We've had some issues lately with spammers adding their wonderful online pharmacy products to our wiki, so I have locked it until I have time to upgrade the software and find a way to prevent unregistered/confirmed users from posting, and to make it harder to register.

So - access is still open to all IR members. When visiting http://wiki.imperialrepublic.org, a pop-up box will prompt you for a username and password.
