Angola has a small village inside of it for the employees of the prison to live in. This is done so that they don't have to try and find housing nearby where they work. My cousin's daughter has a friend who's father is one of the guards, and they live inside the walls. So when my cousin went to pick him up, I rode with her to go and get him.

First of all. Sorry for my long absence this past month. It's been a busy month both in work and other areas, and it doesn't look like it well let up anytime soon. Second, I'm taking a LOA until everything settles down. The latest I'll be back on site will be late August timeframe. Sorry about this, and once again sorry for the long absence.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am taking a week's LOA from the internet. I have no choice in this matter at all. The library will be closed starting the 17th of this month, and won't reopen intil after the 23rd. There is a festival taking place over that period of time, at the Oak Ridge civic center. And since the library is part of the civic center, I'm out of a way to get online for that period of time.

Hello all! I'm back...a little.
It's been a busy yet productive summer. My internship/job is winding down so I'll be back online little by little.
First things first: Stratus sorry I wasn't at the meeting at the beginning of this month. One I was out of town camping where there was no internet access. Two right when I got home, my computer krumped. Overheating and all that garbage. I had to send it in and get it repaired and I just got it back today.
Now I know what Kaidlen went through a little.
I'll be getting on (hopefully) more and more as the weeks progress and I'll be catching up as much as I can. It's good to be back.

I feel like I'm repeating myself. Sorry for the sudden absence once again.
I have a friend that joined the marine about a year ago and then was deployed to Afghanistan at the beginning of this summer. A little over a week ago, I got a phone call from another friend telling me that he was KIAed. He was indeed KIAed. From then on everything began to speed up. For the past few days I've been offline totally as I flew out of town to be with the family. I should have something posted earliest tonight, latest tomorrow.
If everyone would pray for the famliy in this hard time.

Koru *hugs* I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. I'm sure that everyone here understands your need to be with his family in their time of grief and loss. I know that I got off extremely lucky with my 3 family members who got sent to the sandbox. All three went over and came home unharmed.
