Hello everyone.

I have decided to sign us up for Google Apps. This means Google-branded services including gmail (@imperialrepublic.org) addresses (amongst others like @eotir.com), Apps, Calendar, and Sites, Google Chat, etc, all with our own accounts and control over accounts. Those of you who use or have had access to @imperialrepublic.org mail in the past will no longer have forwarded accounts at this time. That doesn't mean its not available, it just means they won't be set up right away. I encourage everyone to request an account so that we can utilize Google Docs services. I plan on migrating all of our documents currently on private google accounts to that system. Everyone is entitled to an account who is part of this game. Just contact me until I work out some sort of sign up feature. Temporary passwords will be issued for the first-login, then you will set your own from there. You can use regular webmail (gmail based), pop3/imap, or have it forward to another account. The reason you will all want an account is for document sharing and such, especially senior staff, but eventually everyone.

Actually, it complicates matters for me having more than one e-mail address. I already receive a lot of traffic using my personal one that having two might bring make it more diffcult for me.
