Revan's boots echoed lightly against the marble flooring of the Imperial Palace. He had walked the corridors of secrecy and power that catered to the efforts of the Imperial Republic's Intelligence Service. However, these days he did not walk them as an outright member of the organization. His purpose within the entirety of the government was...far more vague. At least...to those that did not need to know the truth. In the end of the day, he supposed that it mattered extremely little. His name would be synonymous with many things for several years yet to come.
Arriving at the section of offices dedicated to senior level management, Revan swiped his access card and entered the eight-digit alphanumeric code. With a soft hiss, the reinforced doors slid open, sealing immediately behind him. Dressed in the mix of silver and black indicative of his family estate on Naboo, Revan quietly and swiftly made his way to the office of the new Director of Operations. At present, IRIS was without an active Director. Crystal Reins, however, remained Acting Director until such a time as a new one was appointed by the Supreme Ruler and confirmed by the Senate. It was a necessary level of beaurcracy for a Republic. Revan chose to ignore the measures that served to do little other than cripple the organization's effectiveness.
For now...he contented himself to meet this new addition to IRIS' senior staff. The High Councilor maintained an interest in the workings of IRIS even if he chose not to be directly involved in its political web of relative madness.

A gentle sigh echoed though the office as Kyliann looked around her, making sure for the tenth time in almost half an hour that everything was right where she wanted it. Everything was strange and new to her since she arrived on Coruscant, new job,new people, new home, and of course a brand new planet to get used to but she still kept a level head about it all. She knew there was going to be much she needed to learn, and no matter how much she tried to "study" as it were, most of it was going to be a learn as you go kind of deal.
Taking a seat at her desk she paused for a moment, glancing over the dockets upon her desk kept in two very neat piles of "to read" "to file" and a slight smile played across her lips. Being new to the job there certainly was alot of "to read" dockets but that did not bother her at all, in fact she quite enjoyed it because it kept her busy and was a bit of a challenge to boot.
She had just picked up the next docket from the pile when she heard footsteps approaching her office, setting the file slowly back into place as she stood up. She ran her hands along her uniform making sure there were no wrinkles and everything was straight, waiting patiently.

Revan continued walking down the corridor until he arrived outside the office of the Director of Operations. Kyliann Watson was an unknown name to him - at least in terms of professional accomplishment. He fully intend to ask Crystal just where in the hell the woman's references had actually come from. Considering Revan's role on Naboo, one would think Ms. Watson would be all too familiar to him. Then again, he recalled rising rather rapidly from being a Special Agent to Deputy Director of IRIS. Actually, even his time as Deputy Director had been brief. Then again, he'd been training under the Supreme Ruler for several years at that point, so he doubted his existence was much of a secret to the higher spheres of responsibility.
Politely, Revan knocked twice on Director Watson's door before clasping his hands behind his back. Patiently, he waited for a response, green eyes burning intensely as always in sharp contrast to his black and silver uniform.

Kyliann wondered who was behind the door was. She had not really have the chance to meet anyone since she started and though she had decided making some new friends might be a worthy cause to follow, she just did not have the time. With a warm smile playing across her delicate features she finally spoke up, not wanting to make the person on the other side wait very long.

Revan motioned slightly with his left hand, causing the door to open. Once it had, he crossed the threshold into the Ms. Watson's understandably expansive office. His eyes flickered about the room briefly before settling on the petite frame of the new head of IRIS' Operations Directorate. He didn't smile, but he did nod his head politely to Kyliann. "Director Watson, I presume? A pleasure to meet our newest addition." Taking a few steps closer to Kyliann's desk, Revan extended his hand. "Revan Centurion." Titles meant very little to him, so he opted not to use his own. Besides, it was not his goal to intimidate Ms. Watson...or make her feel uncomfortable.
"I understand you are from Naboo? You'll have to pardon my unfamiliarity. Your career has been, until now, unknown to me." Revan made the statement more as a point of interest than any form of insult. The best careers within Intelligence were kept quiet after all...just not usually from him.

She studied the man for a moment, everything about him seeming familiar but nothing was coming to mind right away. She extended her hand slowly, shaking his own firmly as she spoke up. "It is a pleasire to meet you Mr. Centurion. I must say I am suprised by your visit as I have not had much in the way of company since I arrived." she looked around the office briefly before her gaze fell back upon him "Though I cannot really complain as it has allowed me to organize things as I like them."
When the question of Naboo came up she paused for a moment before nodding her head. "Yes sir, I am from Naboo, and I apologise if you were kept in the dark so long. As for my career I assure you it was not a glamourous one at all."

Revan arched a curious brow at the woman. "Yes well. When your office is in one of the most secure areas of the Imperial Palace, you're ptetty much guaranteed never to get visitors not on official business." Smirking slightly, Revan gently stroked his chin as he studied Kyliann. "Good or bad...it isn't often that I've never heard of someone that eventually rises to the upper levels of leadership within IRIS...or any government department for that matter. At the same time, I don't exactly recognize the last name 'Watson'. I gather you are...not a member of the aristocracy?" If she was, he would certainly recognize her. Truthfully, if she was not, then his respect was already infinitely greater. Nobles simply were not much different from politicians...

She paused for a moment as he brought up her last name and social standing from back on Naboo. She was thankful for who she was, especially having worked for Earl Delcore for so many years she had seen how the politics could eat away at ones soul and it had made her feel sorry for all thouse involved. "You would be correct in assuming so sir. I was born into a middle class family, and to be truthful I am glad for that. I of course mean no disrespect to you sir as I do not know you, but I have seen what happens to those who are part of the aristocracy..and the toll it has upon the body and soul." She watched him carefully as she spoke, hoping he would not take offence to her words.

Revan simply smirked. "It doesn't happen to just members of the aristocracy, Director Watson. Trust me." Casually, Revan moved toward the office's window, gazing out at the Coruscant skyline briefly. Without turning to look at Kyliann, he made a comment. "This job can destroy someone quicker than any social status can. Several very competent and trustworthy individuals in your similar position have been destroyed by the cloak and dagger nature of this organization." Naturally...it only made sense for IRIS to be that way.
Turning from the window, Revan looked at Kylianna and managed a small smile. "So tell me then. Where do you think this organization's intelligence gathering priorities lie? Seeing as you are now responsible for the operations side of the house." Folding his arms across his chest, Revan leaned lightly against the window, green eyes locked on Kyliann's.

Commandant Kaidlen Shan was sitting in her office when a couple of silent alarms and her senses alerted her to an intruder within one of the private sections of the Palace. Changes that she insisted on being implemented after she was designated the head of the new Royal Guard, and the Guard were given the charge of Palace Security. The Colonel was adamant that there would not be another coup attempt within the walls, if she could prevent it.
Reaching out with the Force, Kaidlen realised that she knew the presence that she was sensing. Still, she activated various hidden monitors and double checked what she was feeling. She smiled to herself when she got visual confirmation that it was indeed Revan Centurion. She flipped a switch, and sent out a message to all the Royal Guard assigned to Palace duty and informed them that Centurion was permitted to move freely about his business. She also set a pair of Guards to trail him discretely while he was within the Palace walls. While the Commandant knew that Revan was more than able to protect himself, it was part of the new SOP that important higher ups have a pair of Guards while within the Palace for their protection.
