I'm letting everyone know that there is a day coming up this week where I will be taking the day off from the internet. I'm going to be upgrading my computer. I'm installing a new video card, and I'm upgrading my OS to Windows 7. Then I get the fun of reinstalling all my games and programs. I'm figuring that the entire upgrade and reinstalling everything is going to take me several hours. So, wish me lots of luck.
Just an FYI

Yeah, but I'm not too upset about having done it. I was planning to upgrade my processor and motherboard next year anyways. I just ended up having to do it sooner is all. Besides, I was able to resolve issues with my new video card with the upgrade. Also, my friend who originally built the system has already picked me out a new processor- a quad core. *grins* And it will work with my current motherboard. I almost have a whole new computer now. I've added a new video card, motherboard, processor, DVD burner, wireless antenna, operating system, and I'm waiting on a USB hub. I got an R2-D2 USB hub.
Btw, I'm back online at home.

I haven't upgraded the hard drives or the RAM. And I only added a DVD burner, I still use my other drives. And I've been using SATA since my Ujio was built.
And Jim, how many times did you listen to me fuss and complain about the fact that previous computers of mine weren't able to do this, or do that? And that's from when I was using a pre-built system. At least with Ujio, I know what my system can and can't do, and am learning what to change to get it to do something I want it to do that it's not capable of.
