Round 2: Eric Taylor Jackson vs Johnny Longstockings
The competitors walk into the arena, the spectators cheering and screaming as they do. The two Humans look at each other briefly and then walk to opposite sides of the arena. The lighting was dimmed even more than usual allowing the spectators to cleary see what is happening. The competitors on the other hand, can no longer see much of anything, only a single light in the middle of the arena that illuminates itself and a pair of concentric rings around it and even that was now darker than before. The floor where the competitors now stand is made of a sold metal while the area inside the rings is sand. The attention of the spectators and competitors alike is drawn up above where the competitors walked in. A light turns on in the area to reveal General Gomao, the sponsor of the tournament, with him are the Grand Minister of COMPNOR Lahya Solo-Katarn, Deputy Minister of Defense Daniella Organa, Director of Intelligence Loxiz Mivvit, Supreme Chancellor Joe Quick, and of course High Prince James Stratus and the rest of the Royal Family. In a room across from them, the rest of the Senate and High Council also watches. The holo of General Gomao also appears down in the arena. "Welcome to the second round of the Galactic Martial Arts Tournament. This round will be between Executor Jackson and General Longstockings. The round will consist of the best of five matches, each ending with a knockout or submission. Good luck, gentlemen." The image of General Gomao then disappears and the light in the room where he sat also turned off.

/ooc: Eric Jackson will choose who posts first. And everything will continue as it has been afterwards.

Eric Taylor watched his opponent, General Longstockings, with interest. It wasnt often one of the people evaded his radar, but this man seems to have done it quite nicely. Eric looked over his opponent carefully before beginning his first flurry of attacks.

Post Summary
Left Hook
- If Left Hook Fails, Right uppercut
- If Left Hook Succeeds, grab Longstockings' back and jam his ribs into his knee
- If Knee to Ribs fails, back off
- If Knee to Ribs succeeds, repeat

Johnny just had a big grin for he knew how skilled his opponent was and therefore how difficult it would be to beat him.

Johnny decided it would be best to start out aggressivly so, he attampted a side kick to hischest , whichpowerfull and quick but had to defend against the oppponents counter. If he deflected the kick to a side go with the deflection spin and try to sweep him with his other foot once his foot landed. if he hit johnny while he was attempting the kick and the kick failed then back up into a defensive stance. if the kick was succesfull attempt a round house kick to his head.

Post suummary
side hook
-If deflected attempt sweep kick
-If blocked w/him doing a successful attack retreat into defensive stance
-If successfull then do a roundhouse kick to his face

*Both Eric and Johnny started the fight off rather quickly, skipping the pleasantries that had been common in the rest of the GMAT. Eric with a puch and Johnny with a quicker kick that also had the advantage of range over the punch. As a result, Johnny's kick would have hit first had Eric's punch not blocked the attack, taking only minimal damage, much less than a kick to the chest would have done. Eric's punch than hit Johnny in the face and caused only slightly more pain than Johnny's kick did to Eric. Without even pulling his leg back, Johnny than swung it back around as a roundhouse to Eric's head, who in an attempt to grab ahold of Johnny's back, turned right into the roundhouse and took damage to the head comparable to the damage Johnny had taken to his head.*

Status:
Eric: Slight pain in left arm (1), Moderate pain in head with some fuzzy vision (2).
Johnny: Moderate pain in head with some fuzzy vision (2).

Johnny believed that to be an effective round for him with taking less damage than being delt. Quickly after the first round of combat Johnny started seing the round house kick. He tried blocking it with his arm taking minimal damage there while inflicting damage with his other hand in the form of a punch to the chest while stepping forward to eric to increase the damage of the punch. If that was succesful he would attempt a kick towards the kneecap of his opponent attempting to inflict max damage for his knee cap would not be able to bend much in the direction of the blow. If the block was not succesful tumble with the blow and get up quickly and begin evasive manuvers.

Post Summary
Block high roundhouse to the shoulder with arm, and punch him in the chest with the other arm
- If successful block, attempt to kick Eric's kneecap
- If failed, roll with kick get up quickly and start evasive/defensive maneuvers

*Executor Jackson swung in first with a vicious roundhouse that would have slammed into General Longstocking's right shoulder had the General not quickly put an arm up to block the attack. Although deflecting the major brunt of the attack to his right arm by blocking with his lower right arm, the fact that the attack was closer to the bone now as opposed to the protection offered by Johnny's shoulder, the damage ended up being the same either way, exceptionally damaging. The pain was not enough to stop Johnny though who fired away with a puch to Eric that inadvertantly stepped Johnny right into Executor Jackson's next attack, a potential match winning sweep that knocked General Longstockings onto his stomach and caused some very light yet passing quickly passing damage to Johnny's legs.*

Status:
Eric: Standing, pain in arm beginning to fade (0.5), pain in head lightening with fuzzy vision also lightening up (1.5).
Johnny: Laying on his stomach, pain in head still the same from last round (2), right arm is badly hurting (3).

Eric yelled in celebration as his opponent went down hard. He smirked quietly, before dropping for his next move.

Post Summary
Drop Knees on Right Forearm
- If Succeed, grab hand/wrist and yank upwards repeatedly in attempt to break said arm
- If failed, get to feet quickly and counter any incoming attacks
If Opponent rises to feet
- Roundhouse kick to head, followed up with a leg sweep to tbe back of the knees
If failed, evasive/defensive maneuvers

Post summary

*Eric dropped to deliver his knees into Johnny's slightly extended elbow, who quickly attempted to turn away from the attack. The roll away was successful and Johnny went to follow it up with a kick to Eric's head that although delivered faster than Eric could block, did only minimal damage, partially due to the weird position and timing. Both competitors quickly rose to thier feet unphased, but instead of waiting, Eric delivered a quick roundhouse to Johnny's head that the General was able to make a quick duck of, yet the roundhouse served it's main function and that was to allow Eric the ability to deliver a harsh sweep that buckled Johnny's knee and sent him back to the ground. This time though the sweep did more damage and Johnny landed with a harsh thud as he hit the ground.*

Status:
Eric: Crouched next to Johnny, arm pain gone (0), head pain back to where it was earlier with fuzzy vision returning (2).
Johnny: Laying on his back, pain in head still remains as does th fuzzy vision (2), right arm pain dropping slightly (2.5), minor pain in right leg (1), minor pain in left leg (1).

Eric sighed softly as he watched his opponent for that split second it took to assess the situation, before making his move.

Post Summary
Drop knee on throat
- If Succeed, repeated punches to forehead
- If Fail via roll out of the way, attempt to kick at nearest available spot (Priority Spine, Kidney, Groin, or Head)
- If fail via other, evasive/defensive maneuvers
If Opponent makes his way to his feet somehow, punch to the solar plexus, and punch to the skull

Johnny this time does a somersault backwards rolling and attempts to keep away from Eric and lose pain partially from resting his body parts and also attempting to focus away pain.

Post Summary
-attempt to roll in somersault away
-attempt to get up into crouch position where I would be able to roll/evade/dodge/block attacks
-evade, dodge, parry, if really open attack availiable take it, focus away pain, and stay away from Eric a little

*Johnny was looking up at Eric as the Executor quickly dropped a knee down to Johnny's neck, Johnny kicked his legs back to attempt to sumersault out of the knee drop. However, unfortunetly for Johnny, the knee drop from Eric was very quick this time and before Johnny could kick his body backwards, Eric's knee landed squarly in Johnny's neck. Up in his spectator box, General Gomao cringed as he saw the single most pain receptive body part hit for the first time in the tournament. Eric's knee not only landed in Johnny's neck causing severe amounts of pain as it did, but the seconday effect of this was Johnny clinched between the ground and Eric's knee, unable to move much. Eric started swinging down to Johnny's head for a punch by the time Johnny was able to kick his legs out of the chokehold caused by Eric's knee. Luckily none of Eric's punches landed though. Although now Johnny was in other trouble, kicking himself backwards as slowly as he was forced to by Eric's clinching of his throat, he exposed his back to Eric's kick that snapped towards Johnny's spine, also hitting and causing some fair amounts of damage. Although all of his vitals still usable, Johnny passed out from the sheer amount of pain he was experiencing. General Gomao quickly stood up from his chair to trigger the end of the round.*

"Halt! Medics, attend to the competitors."

Status:
Eric: Kneeled, head pain slowly fading away (1.5).
Johnny: Crouched, pain in head fading away (1.5), right arm regaining full mobility but still hurting (2), pain in both legs fading (1.5), exceptional pain in neck with a severe lack of circulation (4), moderate pain in back (2).

/ooc IM with fix points, you each have 5. Eric, you'll be back to full again so dont worry about IMing me.

Although the General was hiding his pain rather well, Eric had a feeling his neck wasnt quite feeling right. Nor was his back. He smirked quietly to himself, knowing that's where he'd have to direct his attacks.

Punch to the throat
Punch to the solar plexus

*Johnny was holding pain very well, due to the fact it was so spread out he could not show any of it well enough and the use of both of his arm again fully allowed him to better block any attacks as he rested himself and tried to regain health. Eric was adament about not allowing that though as he quickly swung in as soon as General Gomao gave the word to continue. Johnny quickly dodged the opening chop before it hit him and as Jackson swung in with his opposite hand towards Johnny, he was rather surprised to see Johnny's right arm re-enter the fight to deflect the second attack. Eric then took the fight to the stomach as he swung towards Johnny's solarplexus. Seeing the force of the attack, Johnny quickly jumped backwards instead of blocking, extending Eric forward towards Johnny. But instead of counter attacking, Johnny continued resting himself. Eric thought to take advantage of this by an axe handle smash to Johnny's back but was unable to regain his balance while maintaining a close enough range to Johnny to attack. Johnny was successful in focusing away a great deal of his pain.*

Status:
Eric: Standing, unpained
Johnny: Right arm pain totally gone now (0), Neck pain all gone now (0), back pain gone as well (0), pain in right leg fleeting (0.5), pain in left leg fleeting as well (0.5), head pain reduced to a minor headache as well (0.5)

Eric growled as it seemed all of his attacks missed. God, what the nether realm of the devil and the demons in which the damned suffer everlasting punishment happened? he wondered to himself as he wound off a new series of attacks.

Post Summary
Punch to the midsection, immediately followed by a punch to the forehead
Leg sweep, aiming for the back of the quads in an attempt to get him to land on his neck/head
- If Succeed, grab ankle and go to down on it, kicking, twisting, etc
- If Fail, attempt to backflip out of the way (hopfully catching his chin on the flip with his boot) and make evasive maneuvers.

Johnny was settling in for he had a feel for the executioners style now that the first round passed and first exchange of blows in the second round. One essential thing he learned from the beginning is that Eric's strategy was to get him on the ground and he mustn’t let that happen. He went back to what worked the very first time, at least for the moment. Since Erick and Johnny where a little too far away to immediately strike Johnny started with a jumping sidekick to hit Eric before he could make the first move.

Post summary
-Jumping side kick to Eric's stomach
-If successful leg sweep to Eric
-If unsuccessful still attempt leg sweep to trip Eric
-If Eric was somehow able to strike first then push down Eric's punch
-If punch was deflected or not block Eric’s leg while hitting it with my leg kicking it before it was able to come about
-If his kick was successful attempt to kick Eric in the lower back knee part of his legs attempting to make him fall too
-If his kick was not successful then back up and let the rest of my body parts heal
-If my block/kick was successful Eric should be stunned enough to allow me to then do a hook to Eric’s side

*Although both competitors move rather quickly to attack, Eric moves slightly faster. He steps into and swings with a low punch while Johnny jumps towards Eric with a kick to the middle of Eric's body. The kick easily breaks up the punch and Johnny connects to Eric's stomach that knocks Eric pretty hard and as Eric is swinging with a high punch, Johnny executes a quick sweep that knocks Eric down and ending both competitors momentum for right now.*

Status:
Eric: Laying on his back, moderate pain to the stomach (2), slight pain to right leg (1), slight pain to left leg (1).
Johnny: Crouched above Eric, all pain is gone.

Eric growled at the pain in his body, now seriously pissed off. He saw his target...

Johnny had an uncontrollably huge grin because his opponent was under my mercy, or at least that is what I think.

Post summary
-as Eric starts to proceed with his first attack I start to attempt to kick him in the head which would effectivly make him fall
-if successful and Eric is on the ground kick him repetitivly in his chest
-if successful and Eric is standing do a flurry of puches
-if I am on the ground with Eric attempt to punch him in the face many times
-if only I am on the ground attempt knee to his chest if with him trying to attack me by jumping on me then commencing blows
-if I am on the ground and he attempts to attack me with kicks attempt a leg sweep against him
-if unsucessful with kick and I am standing then move slightly away so the upper cut misses and right when it misses punch him in the side of his chest
-if unsuccesful and Eric is on the ground use my heel to smash his face to most likely end the match

*As Johnny looks down on Eric laying on the ground below him. He started to grin slightly. Eric knowing he would need to get on the offensive, lunged up towards Johnny to deliver a vicious low blow to Johnny while the General would attempt to kick Eric in the process. Eric lunged up towards Johnny and delivered a low blow to the General, who even now in an extreme amount of pain, managed to kick the Executor directly in the head as Eric went to attack again, this time with would have been an uppercut had Longstockings not interrupted it by knocking Johnny back down onto the ground and causing moderate pain to Eric's head. Johnny then dropped to a knee out of the pure pain Eric had putten him through, but Eric could not act anymore either as he as well had experienced a great about of pain.*

Status:
Eric: Laying on his back, pain to stomach lowering (1.5), pain in both legs starting to fade as well (0.5 in each), moderate pain to the head with fuzzy vision and minor dizzyness (3).
Johnny: Kneeling near Eric, experiencing extreme pain in his waist but not anything dibilitating.

*Eric kick snapped himself to his feet and swung towards Johnny with a swift backhand only for Johnny to kick Eric's legs out from underneath him as soon as he rose, knocking him back down and dealing minor damage to the Executor's legs. Before Eric could do anything else, Johnny followed the sweep up with a dropping heel kick into Eric's stomach, causing rather severe damage and even tearing the muscles in Eric's back, while keeping Eric unable to tense his muscles without risking permanently tearing them. In severe pain and with his movement severly limited by the stomach pain, Eric was unable to do anything about Johnny's next attack either, a quick kick to the face that left the Executor bloody and helpless on the ground. General Gomao promptly rose to trigger his holo's activation.*

-- If sweep succeed, back off, attempting to rest
Punch to the midsection/solar plexus
- If fail, back off attempting to rest

*Eric and Johnny both swung at each other at about the same time, each of them moving in for a punch, Eric swining and Johnny's face while Johnny swung in at Eric's stomach, while ducking slightly to avoid Eric's palm to the face. Johnny's duck did help him dodge Eric's palm thrust while allowing him to strike Eric's still very delicate stomach, knocking Eric to his knees when Johnny struck, but not doing too much damage to the still wounded Executor. Executor Jackson quickly rose back up, at the same time delivering a quick shot to General Longstocking's stomach himself, doing substantially more damage to Johnny's stomach than the General's own punch. The force dropped Johnny to knees instead. Eric know went to reach his hand around the back of Johnny's head when Longstockings rose back up from his knees and caught Eric's chin with a vicious uppercut that sent the Executor's head jerking backwards. Johnny then swung in to Eric's face again, this time from the side but Eric had recovered enough to put an arm to block the incoming punch. Johnny wasn't fished yet though, as he swung his legs around behind Executor Jackson and swept the Executor back onto the floor.*

Status:
Eric: Laying on his back, pain in head has reached levels near what was felt last round (4), pain in stomach also increasing (3.5), legs still getting more and more pain stacked onto them (2 each), back still hurting from last round (1), the sheer amount of pain has caused the Executor to begin to slowly loose consiousness, he wont be able to take hardly any more.

*Executor Jackson planned on pushing himself to his feet while knocking General Longstockings onto the ground instead, allowing Eric time to rest himself. In opposition, General Longstockings planned to just repeatedly kick Eric until he passed out, the contrast between simplististy and complexity. In this instance, simple but effective won, as Executor Jackson tried to sweep Johnny down, he in reality turned the body part Johnny was aiming for, the Executor's wounded stomach, right into the way. A single kick smashed into Eric's stomach, causing even further damage but not taking Eric to pass out, however, the second kick from General Longstockings did the trick as Eric's body limped into unusbility and General Gomao stood up to end by far the quickest match in the tournament so far.*

"Wow, that was fast." He mentioned to those watching with him. "STOP! General Longstockings, I award you you're second match by knockout. Medics, tend to the competitors."
